With only a handful of games on Thursday night, and a good chunk up in the Super Football Conference being among non-playoff Ivy Division teams, there was little movement overnight in the playoff standings.

Locally, in the Big Central Conference, Edison’s 46-28 win over Paterson Eastside helped push the Eagles from 15th to 13th in the South 5 supersection, switching places with Franklin, while Hunterdon Central remains in 14th. Those three are battling it out among a number of teams, and some scoreboard watching will no doubt be in the cards this weekend.

The Red Devils (4-4) can help themselves greatly with a win at No. 7 Hillsborough (5-3), while the Warriors (4-4) host North Brunswick (1-7). Both games are scheduled for Friday night.

Here are Central Jersey Sports Radio’s unofficial updated UPR standings for all ten public supersections. We’ll update out standings again Friday night/early Saturday morning after Friday’s games are played. There are also about two dozen games Saturday that will have the final say on playoff seeding.

Don’t forget to tune in to Central Jersey Sports Radio Saturday at 6 pm for our annual “Playoff Projection Show,” presented by Higgins Speed Lab in South Brunswick, sponsor of our 2024 playoff coverage. Mike Pavlichko will be joined in the CJSR Studios by analyst Marcus Borden to make our seeding projections and give analysis, and will be joined by several coaches as well.
