The NJSIAA high school football playoffs open this weekend, and it’s time to break down the 27 games involving 29 Big Central teams with Central Jersey Sports Radio analyst Marcus Borden!
But before Mike Pavlichko and Coach Borden get to the postseason talk, there’s a discussion about this week’s big breaking story that Immaculata’s application to join the Big Central was denied by a 59-0 vote from the full league membership. They talk about what may have factored into the decision, and where the Spartan program goes from here.
Then, it’s on to the games, which begin with 27 involving BCC schools Friday night, including our live coverage of Bernards-Hanover Park in North 2, Group 2 (7:00 on CJSR; click here to listen); Borden’s live coverage on Twitter of Manville vs. Shore in South Jersey Group 1 (Follow Marcus here); and coverage of Summit at Morris Knolls from Chris Tsakonas (follow him on Twitter here) in North 1, Group 4 action. Then, Saturday, we’re back at it at noon for live play-by-play of Piscataway and Bayonne (click here to listen), in North 1, Group 5, with Marcus Borden providing video highlights and postgame reaction.
