Another weekend of High School Football in New Jersey is in the books, and we discuss it on the Week Three edition of “Gameday with Marcus Borden.”
We look back at a big win for Ridge over Hillsborough ahead of the Red Devils taking on No. 1 Phillipsburg up in Basking Ridge Friday night, a game you can hear on our “Bellamy & Son Paving Game of the Week.” Click here to listen.
Also on the show, Coach Borden touches on the John Fiore firing in Elizabeth and how it’ll affect Elizabeth moving forward, all the close games we’ve had so far this season in the Big Central, and the three games he’ll be at this weekend, including Belvidere at Dunellen Thursday, Monroe at East Brunswick Friday, and Woodbridge at Colonia Saturday for the township bragging rights trophy.
Friday, at the East Brunswick game, the Bears will honor their 2004 Central Jersey Group 4 championship team, which Borden himself coached. That was the first of two titles he won with East Brunswick, the other coming in 2009.
