The title was the first for College Achieve, playing in its first true season as a program, with Dave Boff as head coach, the former Roselle Catholic mentor who managed to snag a roster of players loaded with top-flight talent from around the state.
Manville was coming off a big upset in the semifinals over top-seed Henry Hudson. Their season ends at 16-13.
