St. Joseph of Metuchen began the year with a bang, starting 2-0 against Group 5 schools, bigger programs than they’ve ever faced on the regular.
Then, the reality of COVID set in, and a virus-related stoppage, and all of a sudden the Falcons – who dropped out of the Central Jersey Sports Radio Top Ten this week – are 2-2.
But that doesn’t mean they’ll back down from the challenge of facing the No. 1 team in the rankings, Woodbridge, Saturday afternoon at 1 in the “Big Central Game of the Week powered by Bellamy & Son Paving.”
