Central Jersey Sports Radio will begin its seventh season covering high school football when the Big Central Conference holds its fourth annual Media Day, to be held at the Harwood Arena on the campus of Kean University in union on Wednesday, August 6th.
While many teams have been participating in summer workouts – along with working out in the weight room and taking part in 7-on-7s – since school lets out in June, the real work begins Monday, August 10, the first day teams are allowed to have an official practice, per NJSIAA rules.
Of course, with the start of preseason camp, that means Central Jersey Sports Radio high school football analyst Marcus Borden – returning for his fourth season with CJSR – will head out on the 2026 Camp Caravan, which he’s been doing for over a decade now.
Just like last season, Borden will tease each camp’s coverage on Twitter/X.ย You can follow Marcus here. We’ll have more details on his first-week Camp Caravan itinerary on Sunday, August 9, and you can find all that content on cjsportsradio.com, with links to Camp Caravan videos, all of which will be published on our Central Jersey Sports Radio YouTube channel, under the 2026 Camp Caravan playlist.
