This past Friday I took the 40 mile ride to Voorhees High School, located in the borough of Glen Gardner, which is in the northwestern portion of Hunterdon County.
It was my first time visiting the school which now leaves me only one school out of the 59 in the Big Central Conference which I have not viewed a practice, scrimmage or game.
The Vikings’ sprawling campus has a relatively new turf field which is protected by the forest behind the home bleachers as well as a new scoreboard at the south end of the field.
It was homecoming for Voorhees, as they were playing host to Delaware Valley. The Terriers showed no mercy as they dominated their Patriot Gold rivals by improving their record to 3-1.
