Three touchdowns – one rushing and two through the air – from senior Logan Fotiadis helped the Monroe Football team earn a 34-12 Big Central National Silver Division win at East Brunswick Friday night.

Fotiadis opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game with a 62-yard touchdown run, then followed it with a 20-yard TD catch on a pass from QB Brandon Macaluso to open up a 15-0 lead.

Tommy DeMetrio added a field goal, then booted another in the second quarter to give the Falcons a 21-0 lead at the half.

The Bears got on the board after Monroe opened the second half scoring on a four-yard pass from Macaluso to Ryan Bayoumy to make it 27-6. And after a Feliz Munoz 55-yard touchdown catch for the Bears, Fotiadis caught another TD pass from Macaluso to make it 34-12.

Monroe evens up its record at 2-2 ahead of a home game with JFK next week, while East Brunswick drops to 1-3 and will play at Old Bridge next Friday night in the Battle of Route 18 on the Big Central Game of the week presented by Bellamy & Son Paving on Central Jersey Sports Radio.
