Summer is winding down, Labor Day will be here before you know it, and Central Jersey Sports Radio is all ready to go with full coverage of the 2024 high school football season and the Big Central Conference.
Everything gets underway as the BCC holds its second annual Media Day event Thursday, this year at Kean University’s Harwood Arena in Union. All 59 teams in the league are expected to participate. CJSR will have coverage from Kean, with stories and previews coming out in the site over the next couple of weeks.
Preseason practice – though many teams have been watching film, lifting weights, and participating in 7-on-7s already this summer – gets underway next Monday, August 12th, per NJSIAA rules, and that’s when Central Jersey Sports Radio high school football analyst Marcus Borden – back for his second year here – will return with the Camp Caravan coverage he’s been providing for over a decade.
New this year, Borden’s full videos and interviews can be seen exclusively here at cjsportsradio.com, with teasers on Twitter/X. You can follow Marcus here, and he’ll be out with his opening week schedule and more details tomorrow here on the site.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll have more and more stories on the upcoming season. Besides looking at some of the key teams, we’ll take a closer look at the season with:
