With 38,273 votes – a full 41.4 percent of all ballots cast – Middlesex senior two-way lineman Cam Robinson has been selected as the Bellamy & Son Paving Borden’s Baller of the Year.

Robinson was selected by visitors to cjsportsradio.com, who cast – in all – 92,486 votes. The next nearest vote-getter was Ryan Bennett of East Brunswick with 22,257 votes. In third was Connor Walsh of Sayreville with 13,354, followed by Brody Nugent of Old Bridge with 10,028 and A.J. Bosch of Woodbridge – last year’s winner – with 2,547 votes.

Central Jersey Sports Radio high school football analyst and former longtime East Brunswick head coach Marcus Borden – with the help of coaches – chose one player from all 24 Middlesex County schools to represent their teams. Voters then chose the winner.

All the Borden’s Ballers on the ballot get a custom football with their name and team, as well as a Borden’s Baller’s t-shirt, courtesy of Metro Team Sports and Elite Custom Apparel. Robinson will get all of that, plus a custom plaque recognizing his efforts.
