In the opening game of Sunday’s Rumble on the Raritan action at Rutgers University’s SHI Stadium in Piscataway, 8th-ranked Hillsborough got solid defense and just enough offense to beat No. 1 and previously-unbeaten Phillipsburg, 14-13.
