The story of Piscataway football was all about championships for the better part of the last 20 years. Anything short of that was a disappointment.
Then, a global pandemic broke out. And Piscataway joined Carteret as one of two Big Central schools not to play football in 2020.
It set the program back to be sure, going winless in 2021. But last year, the Chiefs came back with a 6-3 season. That was the goal: get some wins.
Now in 2023, the goal is: win a title.
