The ten teams in the Bellamy & Son Paving Boys’ Basketball Rankings went a combined 16-2 on the opening weekend of the season, leaving little change in the Top Ten after a short Week One that began with the first games of the season back on Thursday.
St. Thomas Aquinas remains atop the leaderboard, followed by Rutgers Prep, Gill St. Bernard’s, Colonia, and St. Joseph of Metuchen rounding out the top five, with all of them 2-0. Watchung Hills is sixth at 1-0.
Bound Brook (1-0), South Plainfield (2-0) and South Brunswick (2-0) all moved up one spot after seventh-ranked Montgomery dropped out, going 0-2 on the opening weekend.
Ridge took the tenth spot after starting the season with a pair of wins over Hillsborough and Hoboken.
