His touchdown run on an untimed down against Dunellen – and his ensuing two-point conversion run – tied their game at Mountainview Park on September 23rd. The Blue Jays went on to win the game 43-42 in overtime, the start of a three-game winning streak.
Parks’ TD garnered 39 percent of the vote among eight candidates. It beat out the Connor Laverty to Enzo Britez touchdown against DelVal by just over 600 votes.
