Back in 2012, in my previous “radio” life, Mergin Sina was doing for Gill St. Bernard’s boys’ basketball what he had done for the girls’ program, elevating it to new heights.
In that life, I was along for the ride, broadcasting the Non-Public South B title game against Trenton Catholic. And early on, it didn’t look good for Gill, until the turnaround came like a flash, and the game wound up being one of the Top Ten I had ever covered to that point.
It still is.
