It’s been two years since Delaware Valley and North Plainfield have squared off on the football field, but Friday night the Terriers (1-0) will make their first trip to Krausche Field since the 2018 season opener, when they play the Canucks (1-0) on the Big Central Game of the Week driven by Mark Montenero and his team at the world-famous Autoland.

Pregame starts at 6:45 on Central Jersey Sports Radio, with kickoff at 7 as Mike Pavlichko and Justin Sontupe call all the action; you can listen to the game live – and for free – by clicking here.

The offense starts for Del Val with junior quarterback and co-captain Jack Bill. He was a thousand-yard passer as a sophomore, throwing for 12 touchdowns, while also rushing for 516 yards and another three scores.

Head coach Mike Haughey calls him “the total package.”

But Bill is not without a supporting cast – after all, someone has to catch the ball to amass that many passing yards. This year, his top target will be Logan Blake, a hybrid wide receiver/tight end, along with Justin Kolpan and Jaden Corbin.
