When Rutgers quarterback Art Sitkowski was at Old Bridge, he trained with Matt Bastardi of Elite QB Football Training Academy – a sponsor of Central Jersey Sports Radio.

So who better to take a closer look at the performance two Rutgers QBs turned in Saturday, in a 37-30 Big Ten road win over Purdue?

Sitkowski – a junior – led the Scarlet Knights to touchdowns on their first two possessions, and a 14-7 lead, after starter Noah Vedral was a game-time scratch by head coach Greg Schiano, a result of getting dinged up against Michigan.

Later, fellow junior Johnny Langan came in the game, adding more snaps to his typical short-yardage and goal-line packages. The former Bergen Catholic star helped Rutgers come from behind for the win.
