Fulham, QB Yascko, and play-by-play of final Edison drive in thrilling win over Hillsboro

Edison quarterback Matt Yascko – the son of the offensive coordinator – ran for a short touchdown, then the sophomore punched in the two-point conversion that gave Edison the decisive points in a 50-49 heart-pumping win over Hillsborough, in the season finale for both teams.

Edison players celebrate their season-ending win over Hillsborough, 50-49 at Matthew J. Drwal Stadium Friday night.

It was a madcap end to a wild game in the first-ever meeting between the schools, in the final game of the 2020 high school football season for both teams, and for the “Big Central Game of the Week powered by Bellamy & Son Paving” on Central Jersey Sports Radio.
