Postgame reaction from No. 7 North Brunswick’s thrilling win over Edison

North Brunswick led nearly wire-to-wire against Edison, trailing for all of 7:18 of their game against the Eagles. And when it looked like Edison would take its fourth different lead of the game, senior cornerback Jelani Devonish-Wynter made sure it didn’t happen.

The result was a tense, thrilling, rollercoaster 21-20 win for No. 7 North Brunswick over Edison at Matthew J. Drwal Stadium Friday night.

Devonish-Wynter literally tore the ball out of Edison receiver Malcolm Stansbury’s hands. At least that’s how he told the story to Central Jersey Sports Radio’s Dom Savino after the game.
