Top-seed Hillsborough got 15 points each from Jack Toth and Aaron Feath – with Feath hitting three times from downtown – to beat fifth-seed Jackson Township in the Central Jersey Group 4 semifinals, 73-44, sending the Raiders to their first sectional title game since they won their only championship, in 2015.

Junior Jahmal Dixon had a game- and career-high 25 points, while Connor Junker added 20 and Dorsett Mulcahy 18 to lead top-seed Gill St. Bernard’s to an 84-73 victory over second-seed Rutgers Prep to claim its tenth Somerset County Tournament title, tying Bridgewater-Raritan’s record for all-time tourney wins.

Jordan Barnes led all scorers with 20 points, and Leah Kearney was named tournament MVP, as the top-seeded St. Thomas of Aquinas Trojans won their seventh straight GMC Tournament title, beating second-seed East Brunswick 62-41in the 40th girls’ GMC Championship game.
