Note: The NJSIAA did not hold playoffs in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, but it allowed leagues to create postseason “pods” – groups of four teams playing to a champion. However, the Big Central Conference did not follow this model and simply assigned games each week. Somerville had beaten Woodbridge for its seventh win, and was scheduled to play Phillipsburg in the final week of the season, but the game was cancelled due to positive COVID tests and contact tracing in the Somerville program.
