It was all Spotswood up in Union County Friday night, as the Chargers topped Brearley 24-0 Friday night in Big Central Conference action.

Senior quarterback Se’mir Tolbert-Brimage threw two touchdown passes, on a 12-for-15, 199-yard night, while seven of those pass completions went to sophomore receiver Ryan Foster, who racked up 112 yards and a touchdown pass on the night.

Tolbert-Brimage opened the scoring with a nine-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, while Gavin Pereira booted a 25-yard field goal to open the scoring in the second.

Stephen Henits caught an eight-yard touchdown pass before the half to make it 17-0 at the break.

Ryan Foster added a 32-yard touchdown catch in the third for the final score of the night for Spotswood (2-1), which travels to Sayreville next Saturday afternoon to “host” arch-rival South River. Spotswood’s field is being replaced with turf, and the Chargers hope to have it in later this season.

The Rams (0-2) host Roselle Park in their Week 2 game Saturday afternoon.
