Lee’s three TDs – and a stifling defense – keep Woodbridge perfect

The postseason begins next week, there’s one more regular season game to play, but Woodbridge remains unblemished.

The No. 1 Barrons – who have staked claim to that honor since the preseason – beat St. Joseph-Metuchen on the road Saturday afternoon 21-0, thanks to a smothering defense, and three touchdowns from one of the most electrifying players in the state, Ali Lee, Jr.

Lee scored on a 15-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, a 6-yard touchdown catch in the second, and a 4-yard TD pass in the third, while St. Joe’s was held unofficially to -7 yards rushing, and 87 yards through the air.
